Journal: Intermediary step towards figuring out an ideal diet

I’ve tested and retested, studied and discussed, and I’ve made a ton of progress. Lets sum it up:

The two main camps im seeing are the zero carb one (or zero plants) and the dry fasting one. Sure you might say the two are not necessarily in conflict, and its true, u can do both, but heres the conflict:

Reading the experiences of people : meatheals.com, zerocarbzen.com, world carnivore tribe facebook group and principia carnivora facebook groups, people eat usually once a day and get mad heals, arthritis, IBS, skin conditions, autoimmune issues, emotional issues etc.

Then reading the Dry fasting people experiences (which are mostly eating low carb but not necessarily ;even vegans showed results) and fast for 1–3 days / week. get the same results. dryfasting reddit, and principia lenta facebook group for the most part and a big following on snake diet youtube channel.

So, which one or are both complementary to reaching the ideal body functionality? tests will tell.
my theory is — dryfasting promotes autophagy a lot more, killing eliminating the trash inside us (including neuron synapses) GHG boost, while zeroplants goes for feeding quality while having a decent level of GHG and autophagy.
so if u need to eliminate a lot of damage, high level damage, you dryfast as long as possible (i did 6 days). if you dont have much to eliminate, but want to rebuild ur body, dont go for aggressive dryfasting (1–3 days)

The leading figures for these 2 directions are Shawn Baker — a monster of a man in his 50s that can dunk and broke a world record — meat only with solid intellectual potential (being a doctor); and Cole Robinson — also a bit of a monster, but shorter, 35yo who loves to lift and is a personal trainer — a little limited on the intellectual education but much more effective in driving people’s intuition in the right direction and a little less flexible in discourse. Cole is creative, he attempted a lot of things, including the meat only diet, but didnt have good results (which sometimes happen, there are many variables covered and documented), and is constantly optimizing his diet (dryfasting + urine drinking for electrolytes + refeeding with grassfedmeat + lowcarb fruit rich in water : berries, cucumbers.
On the other hand you have Shawn who doesnt seem to be testing much, sure he has less to test with just full meat variable but there are more, frequency, quality, cooking state, water intake etc

I feel like 80% of the road is traveled, but still need some time to tweak it. Being summer im a bit reluctant to test out zero carb when the berries are in season, so im not sure if and how little fruit ill eat this summer (i ate a kg of cherries 3 days ago) but ill definitely go into full meat + dry fasting this winter.

Ah, i see i was kinda inconsistent, no matter, ill correct it now, yes, my conflict is with the added fruit more than the pairing of dryfasting and meatonly. im convinced that both work, as ive tested both.

So, the fruit topic. why risk it?

1 its the only part of the plant, the plant actually wants you to eat so u shit its seed everywhere.
2 it has a ton of good quality water (reference to EZ water)
3 its eaten during summer, when u get loads of sun — light pathway of Dr J Kruse.
4 its damn tasty — i love blueberries and cranberries. Mangos are the higher carb one i like also.
5 antioxidants, micronutrients, energy.

the risks?

1 AGE formation. combining carbs, especially fruit with meat (protein + fat) seems to amplify the process
*i say seems, because ive seen studies but they dont test the specific example of separated by dryfasting feeding periods or specific types of fruit and meat)
*cole is not separating them, i intended to, but didnt have the context to do it, i guess i answered my question, its summer, this is the best time to test it)

2 kicking you out of ketosis and autophagy
3 n1, i dont feel a great taste when i wake up (minor issue)
4 others n1, people switching from low carb to no carb have reached those benefits above, there appears to be a huge gap.

So, a bit more experiments i see FOR NOW (im also integrating the piss driking part). getting close, it would be ideal if others tested more.

lets do our best.
