while this might be a majority concern, the impermeability of people, it doesnt mean that the opposite is not present.
i interact with many many individuals that lack a solid foundation and that are “too permeable”

our philosophy, our value system is the most important thing in our life. of course in a sane culture both the overly permeable and the overly impermeable would be very close .. but thats not the case.

currently both are “evil” and honestly i think the permeable ones are far more dangerous.

ignoring this side of things , throwing blanket solutions is not ideal.
not sure about you, but i dont think your students are impermeable at all, so its an easy if at all challenge. also i wouldnt guarantee how well they will be doing in 5 10 years, and how their philosophy (de) volved.
